Platform terms

Between you and NOWAITN Corporation. Written to be read — if a clause here is unclear, that is our problem to fix, so tell us.

What the service fee pays for

  • Secure card processing set up and run for you — cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with no merchant account of your own to open.
  • Quotes, deposits and invoices, with the balance tracked against the contract instead of a spreadsheet.
  • Automatic client updates as the contract is quoted, scheduled, covered and invoiced.
  • Your page on practicn.com and the quote requests it brings in.
  • Ongoing platform, support and upkeep.

Practicn is a software platform. We do not practise medicine or law. We do not provide clinical care or legal advice, we do not employ, license, credential or supervise any practitioner, and nothing in this product is a professional opinion. Your practice, your practitioners, your licensing and your professional judgement are entirely yours.

Practicn holds records about your PRACTITIONERS — licences, registrations, insurance and continuing education. It does not hold patient records, case files, clinical notes, treatment information or any protected health information, and it is not built to. Do not enter any of that here. Your clinical and case systems stay where they are, and the platform underneath this product is deliberately kept outside that boundary.

We do not vet, endorse, guarantee or recommend the practices listed on practicn.com. We do not verify licences, registrations or insurance. Numbers, dates and carriers shown on a practice page are supplied by that practice and are presented exactly as they gave them to us. Confirming that a practitioner is currently licensed is your responsibility, and the patient's or client's — never ours.

Any renewal reminder or expiry warning the platform shows you is a convenience built on the dates you entered. It is not a compliance service, it is not legal advice, and a reminder that fails to appear does not make a lapsed licence our responsibility.

When a client pays you through Practicn, two amounts are deducted automatically at the time of payment: a platform service fee of 7% of the payment, and a processing allowance of 2.9% + $0.30 per charge, which covers the card-processing cost the platform is billed for on your charge. The remainder is transferred to your own connected bank account.

Worked example. On a $4,000.00 payment: $280.00 platform service fee (7%) and $116.30 processing allowance (2.9% + $0.30) are deducted, and $3,603.70 is transferred to your own account.

There is no subscription, no per-seat licence and no minimum. In a month where nobody pays you through Practicn, you are billed nothing.

Payouts go to a Stripe account in your practice's name that you connect and control. Payout timing is set by Stripe and your bank, not by us.

If you refund a payment, the platform service fee on it is returned to you. The processing allowance is not, because the card networks do not return the processing cost of a refunded charge to the platform.

Chargebacks and disputes on your charges are yours. We will give you the records we hold to help you contest one.

Your contact records, practitioner records and documents are yours. You can export them at any time, and closing your account does not entitle us to keep using them.

If these terms change materially we will show you the new version and ask you to accept it before your next payment. Your prior acceptance stays valid through any grace period stated at the time.
